Welcome to Mental Health Chat. Mental Health Chat is a new social community platform providing a safe place to discuss mental health, inspire, support and connect with others all around the World.

We all have a lived experience of mental health (ourselves or caring for others) and we intend this platform to connect peers together, in turn improving the lives of all involved. Let us use this space to chat about how we feel, what we’re doing, discuss the challenges we face, and share our experiences.

Mental Health Chat harnesses the power of peer-to-peer support by connecting similar people together. The platform is available 24/7/365 allowing peers to interact around the clock. Whether you need support, a place to vent, a place to ask questions or make connections, Mental Health Chat is the place to be. You can start by simply saying ‘hello’.

Our community is supported by 36 friendly and qualified volunteer peer support coaches, who have a lived experience of mental health. Our coaches are trained by our parent organisation knus, a regulated non-profit in the United Kingdom. You will notice these volunteers have a verified badge on their profile. They can help you gain access to 1-to-1 support with a coach where needed and provide inspiration along the way. Our volunteer team is supported by a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, nurses, social workers and academics.

Our services are free of charge. Any donations are gratefully received and help our cause.
